Kathmandu : Nepal’s leading non-life insurance company, Himalayan Everest Insurance (HEI), has won two prestigious international awards at the Insurance Asia Award 2025, held on 8th July at Singapore.
The company won the “Domestic General Insurer of the Year” and “Insurance Product Innovation of the Year” awards for 2025. Chairman Mahendra Krishna Shrestha and Director Bijay Kumar Pant attended the ceremony to accept the honours.
The awards are considered among the most prestigious recognitions in the Asia Pacific insurance sector, further elevating Nepal’s insurance industry profile on the global stage.
This achievement builds on HEI’s growing international recognition. The company previously won the Insurance Asia Award in 2023 and secured both the “Domestic General Insurer of the Year” and “Strategic Partnership of the Year” awards in 2024.
