
KATHMANDU : The International Curriculum Association (ICA), a global organization supporting over 1,000 schools in 90+ countries, has appointed Ms. Diptee Acharya as the ICA Ambassador for the 2025-2026 term.
Ms. Acharya, the Founder Director of Sanskriti International School, will represent the ICA in Nepal and neighboring countries, fostering a network of educators committed to improving learning through the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), International Primary Curriculum (IPC), and International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC).
This appointment recognizes Ms. Acharya’s two-decade-long dedication to progressive education. Under her leadership, Sanskriti International School became the first school in South Asia to receive the prestigious IPC accreditation. As an Ambassador, she will now mentor other schools, facilitate training, and champion quality implementation of international curricula across the region.

The ICA Ambassador programme selects experienced leaders who have demonstrated exceptional understanding and implementation of the ICA’s “Improving Learning” philosophy. Ms. Acharya’s term will focus on strengthening the network of international schools and promoting best practices in pedagogy and leadership.
About Diptee Acharya
Diptee Acharya is the Founder Director of Sanskriti International School, a pioneer in progressive education in Nepal. She is an AMI-trained Montessorian with a Master’s degree in Montessori Education from the USA. Beyond her contributions to education, she is a distinguished leader in Toastmasters International, having served in senior District leadership roles. She is also a dedicated social worker and an active member of Zonta Club of Kathmandu, advocating for the rights and well-being of women and children.
